Once again hooked onto Dean Koontz books.
I think I have given up on romance novels.
Why bother when the endings are typical?
Plus reading it gives too much false hope.
So all I have been reading are horror and thrillers.
They give me the adrenaline and fear gripping feel.
Therefore if I freak myself out at night while reading,
I guess of course I only have myself to blame! ha ha!

He stood there bewildered, staring at her.
Or at least he thinks it is her.
He slowly walked forward to confirm his answer.
Physically, he could tell it is definitely her.
But what he could not understand was her eyes.
She viewed him like a stranger as he approached.
Yet her eyes beckoned him; dark and provocative.
As an invitation, she gave him a seductive smile.
His thoughts flew around his mind in a whirl.
From conservative almost to the point of being a prude.
To this...a total seductress dressed lasciviously.
And just like that he fell into her trap.
In the end, he never did get his answer.
