Sleeping Beauty.

This year's lunar new year.
By far the most boring one ever.
All I did was be sleeping beauty.

I realized this year how time flies.
This year we all realized it too.
How fast everyone is growing up.
Also how our parents are growing old.

Lastly, I hate to admit but growing apart.
Our parents are the ones that bonds us.
Without them I can't imagine what happens.
Every lunar new year, will we still meet?
Especially with those distant relatives.
Not only do I fear but I feel sad at that thought.
Yet I too succumb to it.
Doing nothing to salvage that growing distance.
Will we all just live to regret?

how much is overstepping the boundary?
these unspeakable thoughts of mine.
you'd have never believe it to be me.
