I've
finally booked an appointment with the hairdresser auntie!
But its
17 more days till I get that hair cut done really.
I'm
trying to assure myself that I won't regret snipping it off.
(
as i always end up regretting after i have done something)
Alright other than this there is nothing to update on a Saturday.
Especially when I am
still home alone doing my homework.
sigh.
However I am doing it in a good mood with a grin on my face. 'ㅂ'
For I have
finally caught the unsuspecting victim unaware! ha ha!
But then I realised my past actions weren't done anonymously. dang!
So much for trying to be cautious and restrained huh?
Double my happiness as somebody faved "Falling For The Bad Boy".
But I wished they'd leave some comments behind to tell me how I did.
Okay nobody understands what the hell I'm talking about now eh?
Too bad. (^ㅅ^)v

Had
2 coffees for the whole of today.
So I doubt I would be sleeping anytime soon.
Nothing interesting or fascinating to blog about.
Since I have either forgotten or its only about homework.
And seriously its only homework until the weekend is over.
Sad huh? Double that since my term tests are on its way.
And all my current semester subjects are just such a
bitch.
On a happier note, My grand uncle and aunt is coming! =)
Even though I can't receive him at the airport on Monday.
But I can
so imagine him in his cool long jacket outfit and hat!
My mum's hong kong relative is coming in on December 16.
Sister is coming back home on the 26 of December.
And my 29 year old cousin's wedding is on 28th December.
Seems like the coming month is getting real
action packed!
Anyway just now watched one "
sad" life of a DBSK anti-fan.
Waiting at the airport just to chuck one bag at Changmin.
And going to the extent of cursing him in Chinese?
I seriously doubt he would have understand what she said.
Gee nowadays
anti-fans are just such
helluva retards really.
And not just DBSK anti-fans.

Today after school was 20th century fashion field trip!
Destination was the
Asian Civilization Museum.
Originally thought that I could see a lot of Peranakan stuff.
But well lets just say it turned out to be
nothing like I thought.
Then again overall it being my first time I had low expectations.
(
ha ha! I'm getting all fussy and critique-like again. psh!)
Headed there with Serene, Yan Fang and her friend Stephanie.
I was easily awed by the towering buildings as we emerged.
Gee this only goes to show how little I actually venture to.
Yet if only the transportation fares ain't this expensive damnit!
(
what happened to the damn petition we sign up for?!)
Anyway 4 of us had to split up since we're in different class.
Serene and I didn't immediately go in to the supposed location.
(
but also because teacher didn't give us the map anyway!)
So we actually took our time to explore the other galleries.
Which was really
fascinating but the lights there so
dim.
Plus there wasn't much pictures we can take due to some rules.
But I sure wish we had a tour guide cause it was like a
maze!
I guess always the fun part of this trip was actually dress up.
Serene and I ventured into a corner where we could put on clothings.
And it was actually those Chinese opera character clothings.
Then there was this other side where we had different hats on.
Tried to take some pictures with my
lousy handphone camera.
(
shoot me for forgetting to bring my digital camera! @#$%!!)
Almost leaving, we 2 entered their souvenir shop.
Our faces blanched at the sight of the prices of the stuff there.
$175 for a Peranakan blouse and the material is like... =.=
There were other stuff we didn't dare touch lest we break it.
Anyway end up leaving fast cause heavy rain was approaching.
I hope I get to go back there when they have other galleries.
And do remind me to bring my useless digital camera next time!

"
The number one fear is the fear of public speaking."
This was actually said by my CSAS2 teacher.
Well today had another "
chance" to conquer this fear.
For I had my Japanese language CDS presentation today.
You might think it was easy doing this but no it was
not.
Because unlike the first time, this was
not a group work.
Plus this tutorial group don't contain
all my classmates.
As much as I was shaking like a leaf, I
still held my voice.
(
or that is what i would like to think of myself ha ha!)
But I'm thankful the audience was responsive to my jokes.
And now I'm finally relieved of FC quiz and Jap. project.
Now still left my fashion project which makes me want to cry.
Alright let me just give myself half a pat on the back at least?
Oh my! Just watched three quarts of Star King on youtube.
And it just makes me squeal with the cuteness overload!
Watching it really makes me confirm I want kids in the future!
My future husband, lets have a soccer team! ha ha!
Saturday, November 22, 2008
Using the PC in my brother's room stealthily again.
Since both the men in my house are watching soccer.
(
yeah i didn't mention that my brother was back did i?)
Well he's back joining my dad in cussing the soccer players.
Wow, I just realised its coming to the end of November.
Took me awhile to remember that school kids are having holidays.
Man, it felt like
eons ago when I was in secondary school now.
Oh no! And December is making its way here soon.
So much for trying to lose those pounds before the
special event!
Anyway watched this Korean variety programme on cable TV.
Dad and I were freaked out over the content of processed meat.
Actually more like over the amount of sodium nitrate in them.
I never
knew there was actually a recommended intake for them.
Dad even went to check out the sausages they bought today. ha ha!
Of course naturally sodium nitrate was present in them.
But man, you guys should have seen the expression on our faces!
Well, lets just say we are more wary about eating them now.ha ha!
Well here's a tip:
By boiling processed meats for 30 seconds
You actually reduce 20% of the sodium nitrate!
But of course throw off the water you use for boiling (duh!)
had fun playing with bro's laptop camera effects!
there! doesn't it look like a heart shape?

Today all I can say is it was a "Choke Levina" day really.
Clique 6 kept making me laugh and choke over my coffee.
And this wasn't the first time they tried to "choke" me!
I seriously believe one day I might end up choking real bad.
But gee I can't remember what they said that made me choked.
Yet it was so bad I nearly spitted out my precious coffee.ha ha!
Yay! Today's Bmic quiz has been done and over with! =)
Sad though my other projects are still continuing to bug me.
But by next week I believe I can be finished with some of it.
(though currently unsatisfied with my fashion project =/)
Then again not looking forward to next week's FC quiz.
And I'm not liking this semester's damn Maths Stats 2.
I can't wait to be relieved of the whole junk of maths!
Alrighty nothing more coming from the proverbial Levina.
i hate it when there are moments when i can't figure people's moodswings
hmm remember clique 6: BE DISCREET!
Funny how this is coming from someone who is so erratic.

This morning woke up early for TP Rawks event.
Was only the usher for the students arriving though.
Sadly had to usher alone in the humid hot weather.
But then again kind of fun to direct the clueless students.
Today was a idle day despite the urgency to complete work.
I'm in utter deep shit to try and finish up 2 damn projects.
And I'm getting really riled up and pissed for no reason.
Firstly will you people
stop the damn chain mails!?
Especially those that ends with things that
curse my family.
Like: "Pass this on or your family members will die".
And whatever fucking bullshit that comes with these mails.
How many bloody fucking emails have I deleted already.
And I'm still alive by this day, so shouldn't I be dead by now?
Hell, send all you want then.
Like I FUCK CARE.
Thank you, now I need anger management lessons.

Okay I got minutes to type before it turns midnight.
So first of all,
Happy 17th Birthday Lorelle! And so by seeing the post title I bet you can guess.
Yes, Lorelle, Lynnette and I went out on an outing.
Meeting point was at City Hall station at 11:15am.
Then the birthday girl was our "tour guide" bringing us.
(
since both Lynnette and I are direction idiots. ha ha!)
(
err..actually it might just only be me the really..)
We went to Peninsular Excelsior Hotel for a dim sum buffet.
3 of us slowly ordered small portions from the menu.
It indeed was small but then again enough for all 3.
And what can I really say about the taste of the food?
Well, lets just say it really changed the way I think about it.
Besides, it was seriously the
first time I ate a Xiao Long Bao.
And if this tasted heavenly to me already, imagine better ones..
Anyway, we not only just ate, we camwhored quite a bit too.
Satisfied our stomachs with the last dish of mango pudding.
Which was every bit
smooth, velvety and melting in the mouth.
Alas, finally left by taking the lift which was a scary experience.
Because we were joking about ghost appearances in the lifts.
And as we were talking, the lift went up without us noticing.
(
even though we pressed for it to go down instead)
Then it stopped at the highest floor and the doors opened.
It was scary cause the walls facing the lift was all mirrors.
And it was like how we were talking about the ghost appearance.
We all hid to one side of the lift huddled together in fear.
The lift door
wouldn't close no matter how we press the button!
Plus we all suddenly felt this
breeze of cold air come in.
Seriously was really
creepy.Just thankful we came out well.
After that, we walked all the way to Plaza Singapura.
Got lost here and there while making our way there.
We couldn't even help a lost Caucasian find his way to Orchard.
(
seriously, and I shouldn't be called a Singaporean really)
Lynette left soon after for her bible study group and bbq.
Lorelle and I stayed behind at Grand Cathay to do homework.
Sad huh? A day for celebration but still need to do homework.
Alright shall stop here and die seeing my "
blackmail pictures".

WARNING: Extraordinary Long Post Ahead.Exit if dizzying symptoms occur after reading.
Yesterday brain processing went really slow for me.
There seemed to be so much to plan out for CCN day.
Plus there were some project discussions to do as well.
Then last minute I crashed over at
Lorelle's house to stay.
Because we needed to prepare food ingredients for CCN.
But it only turned out to be
3 miserable carrots and an orange.
Went ahead to pack my stuff and go over
Lorelle's house anyway.
Her mum went to the trouble to pick us up at the MRT station.
Her house is total awesome like some high end hotel. ha ha!
And it was so
spotlessly clean I feel so ashamed of myself.
Had dinner of nasi lemak then was couch potato for a bit.
Then we had the assigned work to do:
Cutting carrots.
Had fun using last bits of carrots to make out designs.
Then we also had to design out a banner for the next day.
Yet at the same time we were
fangirling over
DBSK.
(
since she let me supposedly watch a preview of it)
(
but in the end we watched finished the whole concert)
By the time we were done it was at 3am in the morning.
And we had to wake at 8:45am to got to school early.
This morning awoke to 2 alarms with DBSK songs. ha ha!
After boiling the 2 batches of carrots, we were ready to go!
We went to the food preparation laboratory to meet Miss Ma.
All just to be able to pack the 20
exclusive set lunches.
Lorelle and I had fun making the instant mashed potato.
Some things may look the grossest but actually taste good!
(
really, the food for today looked gross but tasted awesome!)
Miss Ma marinated the chicken beforehand so that's all we did.
We packed the set lunches with mashed potatoes and carrots.
Used ice cream scoop on the mashed potatoes was fun.
It made me hungry for
vanilla ice cream weirdly enough.
Anyway things were rushed but turned out pretty well.
Bought myself 2 of
Chin Ying's handmade handphone keychains.
One was shaped of a
strawberry, the other was a
heart. =)
CCN at other schools like the Engineering school was real noisy.
Whereas at our ASC side it seems really quiet and boring.
The funniest was seeing all the typical game stall set up.
But at the same time the grossest was eating competition.
(
because i ended seeing someone puking his guts out.eww)
Comparing their CCN to ours, I'd really say ours was dull.
Best moment of my day: Fangirling over a Hong Ki lookalike.
Ha ha but so cute can? lookalike was selling
red balloons.
While we were busy trying to sell our handicrafts instead.
However having only 5 hours of sleep,I am officially dead tired.
Now let me have a nice sleep with dreams of
red balloons. =)

Current weather is most likely a thunderstorm coming.
No, I am
not trying to be a weather forecaster here.
Just that the thunder and lightning is freaking me out.
Add the fact that I am alone at home and it is so quiet.
Alright change of topic. I haven't been updating here.
Today's CDS really made me start to feel the stress.
I'm
supposed to be already prepared with my research.
Teacher's trying to tell me when I'm having
brain freeze.
Engine's LT was just so
frigging cold like it was
winter.
I really
defrosted and
thawed after stepping out.
Serious!
My palms were suddenly sweaty and feet slippery.
Been really busy coping with all the load I'm getting.
Yes, I'm
supposed to be studying for quizzes right now.
And I have 4 ongoing projects to
burden my brain cells.
Just 3 words to say:
Ho Ho Ho.
Herein is my day.
Now let me go back to cowering under my blanket, thank you.

This evening I think I tire myself out from laughing.
My ribs nearly cracked from laughing too hard.
This was after dinner and over dessert to boot.
So imagine laughing really hard over a
full stomach.
It was all due to Lorelle and I chatting randomly.
We branched into the topic about our futures and all.
So she said to remember to invite her to my
future wedding.
But I was instead imagining us gathering when we're
oldies!
So we both burst out laughing at the prospect of it.
I mean imagine us all wrinkly, white haired plus dentures.
And still hung up and discussing about DBSK or something.
Then worse still when it suddenly jumped to someone else.
(
aye yes the proverbial Mr. Famous Mountain ha ha!)
Next we imagined him old but
still with that swishy hair.
That was another cause for hard laughing and breathlessness.
(
i think at this point onlookers thought us insane)
Anyway today looked at my sister's adventure trips online.
Her trip to China alone seemed really exciting.
(
despite the worrying weird situations she got into)
In awe just seeing all the pictures of natural scenery.
Have this
weird desire as well to have an exploration alone.
Just to somewhere even if its just in Singapore still.
One day.Alone.With a camera in hand. =)

Early morning and it was Basic Microbiology lecture.
Its always either Maths or that at 8
friggin am.
(
i mean who processes such huge junk in early mornings?!)
Right after was CSAS tutorial about our lab report project.
My group has quite a few mistakes here and there.
I felt utter guilt not being able to spot those mistakes earlier.
But overall I think everyone really put in a lot of effort! =)
Had 2 hours break having lunch and printing my project stuff.
Then headed for Food Chemistry lecture that starts at 1pm.
And the whole of the clique 6 just
had to make fun of me.
All just because of the appearance of a
mountaintop. Sigh.
Learned not everyone has actually tasted caramel before.
(
seriously you have got to be kidding me! let me go make..)
But after today I will never look at caramel the same way again.
After what some
countryside people have commented about.
(
ha ha! countryside people = friends of the mountain. kudos!)
Went to 20th Century Fashion tutorial alone today. =(
But we have finally started choosing our choice of fabrics!
Yet looking at it I am tentative whether I should do 1900's fashion.
However the teacher said I can corporate my fabrics into it.
Alright will not continue due to "overdue" assignments to finish up.
when would you realise the world does not revolve around you
1 down. 10 more to go.Tuesday, November 04, 2008
Remember my previous post learning the French Question?
Guess what?I have finally learnt the Japanese version of it.
Unexpectedly that was what we learnt in Japanese tutorial.
So now I can go ahead and proceed with my daring request.
(nayy just kidding like it would ever happen in the first place)
Right now feeling in no mood to do any of my lab reports.
Due to practically a whole day filled with mundane lectures.
It was so bad that we 3 L's were doodling and gossiping on paper.
Anyway was talking to Kaela over the internet about corsets.
She has numerous of them but namely only 4 real ones.
And she buys them mostly in Brisbane for about A$150!
So much for wanting to get my brother to get one back for me.
Alright then,nothing more I feel like regurgitating here.Monday, November 03, 2008
Today is 3rd of November 2008.
It's the 6613th day of my life and I'm surprised I'm still alive.
Currently feeling the brunt of the homeworks I have now.
Especially today receiving extra laboratory practical assignments.
(which I would have to crack my brain over it later on)
Mentioning laboratory, today's session was such a chaotic scene.
Instructions were poorly given out and misunderstood.
Its a wonder we even survived that miserable 3 stifling hours.
But kind of pitied our practical teacher.Bet he was all flustered.
Only happy thing today was attending French lecture this evening.
Accompanied Chin Ying and Yan Fang for no particular reason.
Realised that learning French isn't as easy as it really seems.
Throughout the whole day only learnt one question in French.
Which was: "What is your telephone number?" HA HA HA!
If I ever intend to go to France, I'd ask this of the French men.
Or I'd purposely ask an unknowing person so he won't know.
But dang! This unknowing person just had to learn French as well.
Never mind, I'll find out the Japanese version of it and learn.ha ha!
Alright I need to go off to do my pictorial research on 1900's fashion.
(anybody willing to buy a real corset for me?pretty pretty please?)Saturday, November 01, 2008
Warning: Yet Another Long Long Post Ahead.
Exit if dizzying symptoms appear. ha ha!
I was supposed to meet Lorelle at 12pm Vivocity.
But being such a scatterbrain, I was 30 minutes late. =(
Imagine forgetting ez link card then forgetting handphone!
Anyway we explored the place for our main purpose of going!
It was the Korean Flavour Fiesta!
But upon reaching, it really was a little disappointing.
Cause we were expecting a lot of food stores or something.
It turned out that there was only 1 store giving out food samples.
The rest were either selling limited food stuffs you see in K-marts.
Or the norm Korean dramas and their sponsored labels like LG.
Okay at least there was the showcase of Korean seasonal foods.
Plus the free kimchi making lessons which was sadly fully packed.
Lastly was the free trying and picture of the traditional hanbok.
But both Lorelle and I were always one step behind in doing things.
Man,just when we decided to pluck up our courage to do it! ha ha!
Lunch was really predictable at Food Republic eating Korean food!
There was this weird stranger who sat next to us during lunch.
It was weird because the seats were actually already taken.
And he just sat without even asking permission to do so.
He told us he'd eat faster and ask us to pretend we don't know.
But the lady came back just glared and went off without a fight!
Later he suddenly did a straw poll between us about cable channels.
Funny guy.Wonder if he really was what he said he was. ha ha!
The fiesta had some performances going on when we went out again.
Taekwondo with some little 5 year olds made the audience go aww.
But the seniors came with really scary but awesome kicks and moves.
They even did moves to Super Junior's Don't Don and Rokkugo songs!
Though I really wished they used Dong Bang Shin Ki's instead.
Then there was the B-Boyz performance which was wild!
I say wild because girls there really screamed like it was nothing!
(especially Lorelle who went wild even though we knew nuts!)
We went for a little window shopping after that around Vivocity.
Suddenly Lorelle's friend called to say DBSK's 4th album is out!
We rushed to Plaza Singapura just to get our hands on the album.
Another funny situation happened there when we reached the shop.
This lady worker gave 2 albums left on the shelf to a Malay girl.
Even though we saw the albums first and were inquiring about it.
Imagine our shocked and a little angered faces only to realise later on
There was actually more in stocks of the CDs!(Lady tried to tell us).
But we laughed with the Malay girl who was another Yunho fan!
I even did a high five with her just because we were Yunho fans.
Her boyfriend was shaking his head at us crazy obsessed DBSK fans.
I'd immediately bought the album with the picture book I had wanted.
It came with 2 badges, one of which was Yunho! Other was Micky.
(i realised i should have taken jaejoong so i can give to Mei Yi)
Left for home after looking at the droolworthy pictures. =)
But burnt a hole in the pocket since I splurged all of my pay.
